The varietal is the Ethiopian Gesha, but grown on the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos. It features the distinct Gesha characteristics with a tea-like body, bright citrus notes like bergamot, and a jasmine-y aroma. We get fresh stone fruit notes from this uncommon origin, as well as bright and vibrant citrus, and a very present and pleasing acidity. This coffee is delicate but unyielding in its fruitiness. We roast it very light to keep all the florals, fruit, and acidity intact.
